Snowmobile Pollution

One hour on a typical snowmobile produces more pollution than driving a modern car for a year. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, snowmobiles emit a number of pollutants, including aldehydes, 1,3-butadiene, benzene, and other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). What happened to the policy banning the recreational use of 2-stroke motors by 2010? This includes ATV's and Jet Skis. Until then, there is way too much pollution in our backyards. Will the world be watching Canada during the G8 Summit in June 2010, wondering why they should reduce their carbon footprint while Canada ignores their carbon snowprint?
